Cassandra by Starlight - Susan Mac Nicol This was an interesting book. I enjoyed reading about Cassandra and Bennett. I do feel that the author should have removed some of the major details behind each new person that was introduced. I felt that the author had to justify the existence of each character.

I was able to get halfway lost reading this book. I could picture living in modern London with the characters. Granted I do not know much about London so I am taking the authors word for everything in the book. The author used some unique words to the book, which thrilled me. It is nice to see authors are not scared to use words not in everyday use. Some of the sex scenes are a little R-rated and not for the faint of heart.

Reading this book reminded me of being back in high school. I remember my literature teacher telling me a good story or play always had a leading up to climax, the main climax and the post-climax. Well this story has the main climax. This could be three separate books with difference characters. The author placed several minor characters in the book. The reader does not find out anything about the characters. I find that disappointing. I would like to know what happened with several of these characters.

This was a very interesting book. I enjoyed each challenge that characters faced. I look forward to reading additional books by this author.

Thanks for an interesting read Sue.

The bunnies and I give this book carrots.
